The fracture of the shaft of femur is one of the serious injuries caused. It is caused by a greater force in the form of direct or indirect injury. The signs and symptoms of this type are, there will be a severe pain, swelling, and shortening of the limb. Also there may be angulations. If there is comminuted fracture, there will be more damage.
